Does wildlife Mudumalai Safari run all 12 months ? Or is it closed during the monsoon season ?
Mudumalai National Park safari runs throughout the year.
What are the routes to come to Masinagudi ?
a) Please note that guests will have to enter the forest before 8 PM, after which they will not be allowed to cross the forest.
b) Hence, if you check on Google Maps for directions after 2 PM, it will show a longer route via Salem.
Accommodation & Facilities
Is this a 3-Star or 5-Star property ?
We are a small boutique resort with facilities comparable to a 2-star property.
Do you provide parking ?
We have ample free parking at the Masinagudi property.
Is there any lift available to access the higher floors ?
Unfortunately, we do not have a lift at the property.
Is it possible to get rooms next to each other?
All our properties are boutique resorts with different layouts, so it may not always be possible to have the same room types next to each other. Post booking, you could request our front-desk team & they’ll try and facilitate rooms next to each other, subject to availability.
Do you have driver accommodation on site ?
Unfortunately, we do not have any driver accommodation available on site. However, you could get driver accommodation nearby at Xavier Lodge, Next to Kongu Bar, Masinagudi Town (Rs 400/- per Night)
Can you give us a specific room or one of the 1st floor etc (accommodation preferences) ?
All the rooms are dynamically allotted by the system and we have no control over the same. For any special requests, we would request you to kindly reach out to our front desk team (number will be shared after booking); we will try to accommodate your request on a best effort basis.
Do you offer laundry service ?
Unfortunately, we do not offer laundry service at the property.
What’s the wi-fi speed that we can get at the property ?
We get wi-fi speeds of approximately 50-60 mbps at the property.
Food
Can any food be provided for small babies ?
For any special requests, we would request you to kindly reach out to our front desk team (number will be shared after booking); we will try to accommodate your request on a best effort basis.
Do we have a separate kitchen for pure vegetarians ?
Unfortunately, we do not have a separate kitchen for pure vegetarians.
Do you provide alcohol at the property ?
Unfortunately, we do not provide alcohol at the property.
Can we bring our own alcohol ?
We have no problem with that, but you’ll need to have the alcohol in your room, and not in the common areas.
Do we provide room service for food ?
Due to our close proximity to the jungle, in-room dining is not available at our resort. This helps to keep stray animals and insects out of the rooms, which can cause damage and discomfort.
Do you offer Jain Food ?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a separate menu for Jain food.
Do you allow outside food ?
Unfortunately, we do not allow outside food.

Do you set up a campfire for the guests to enjoy?
Unfortunately, as per the forest department, we are not allowed to set up a campfire.

Hotel Policies
Do you allow early check-in OR late check-out ?
For any special requests, we would request you to kindly reach out to our front desk team (number will be shared after booking); we will try to accommodate your request on a best effort basis. However, you can keep your luggage at the front desk if required & use the common areas / facilities.
Why don’t you allow stag groups?
We have had instances in the past where stag groups have created a lot of noise / disturbance, and since we are focused on family bookings, we do not allow all-male bookings.
Can we accommodate kids on the same beds ?
Sure, children can stay free of cost in any of the rooms. However we are unable to provide any additional bedding beyond what is already there in the room.
What are your standard payment & cancellation terms ?
Payment Policy: We collect a token advance payment that needs to be paid within 24 hours of booking, the balance amount can be paid at the time of check-in.
Cancellation Policy: The guest can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 3 days before arrival.
Exceptions to Cancellation Policy: Kindly reach out to our reservations team (reservations@avadale.in) for any exceptional cancellation requests.
Refund Policy: For bookings made directly with us, refund would be processed within 5-7 business working days. For bookings made with an OTA (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda etc), kindly reach out to the OTA for the refund.
Does Avadale accommodate unmarried couples ?
Yes, all couples and guest groups are welcome, the only groups we do not allow are all-male groups ?
